Edusuite's new feature highlights!

Feels like the year flew by so fast? Us too. With still less than a month to go, Edusuite wants to give you early holiday presents. Presenting our new features and improvements last November 2020.

Edusuite for College and Universities

Custom TOR (Transcript of Records) and Document Formatting

This new feature will allow schools to customize the layout of documents such as the TOR. Design the layout of the document in Word (or any document editor), upload it into Edusuite, and users will be able to download the document in the school’s custom layout.

Dynamic Terms

Many schools are now changing their calendars due to the unique requirements of online learning. Some schools switched from semestral to trimestral or even quarterly. Previously, changing the number of terms in a year requires major internal changes and data migrations that require the involvement of the development team. In the new build, the school may now dynamically set the number of terms on a yearly basis.

New workflow for grades marked as INCOMPLETE

Previously, when a student's grade is marked as incomplete, the system would interpret that as a FAIL, and advise the student to retake that subject. Other schools would pass the student first, however, that leads to its own set of complications especially when the student fails to complete the subject. Edusuite’s new setting “exclude from forecast” will still mark the student as failed, but will not recommend that the student retake that subject, giving the student time to complete any requirements needed to pass the subject.

Scheduler: additional filters

Scheduling for the school year can be a lot of work. To make it easier, we added additional filters so administrators can now easily view and edit schedules based on the faculty and block sections they select.

Finance Widget for Guardians and Parents

Guardians and Parents can now see on their dashboard the balance of every student under their supervision without having to go to the payment ledger of each student under them. This will help the guardian be reminded if there are still unpaid balances, so they avoid incurring penalties.

Term Summary Report

Generating term summary reports can be easy with this new feature from Edusuite. The term summary report contains the average grade of each student for the selected grade levels or sections per term.

Faculty Load Report

The school can now easily generate a faculty load report that provides information about each faculty member, courses they are teaching, and the number of hours and number of students they teach.

Adviser’s Remarks Module and Principal’s Remarks Module

For every school grading period, giving comments and remarks from the adviser is important for the school and students' progress. That is why we made it easier for the advisers to give their remarks by just clicking the Adviser’s Remark button.

Principals, can view and add comments too! This will be a helpful tool especially during the deliberations of students.

Other Improvements

  • Edusuite redesigned the Non-Academic Scoresheets, by adding the gender column per student and separating the remarks feature.

  • Administrators can now change the date of their widgets to see data from the previous, the current, and the next school year.
