What’s New in Edusuite: New and Improved User Experience for K12

Updated: Jun 7

Edusuite K12 new and improved user experience

Edusuite is excited to announce several new features and enhancements designed to improve the user experience for K12 school administrators. These updates offer greater flexibility in managing student data, enhance visibility in the system, new reports generation, and resolve various technical issues.

Option to Include Middle Name in Score Sheets

Administrators can now choose to include or exclude the middle names of students in the score sheet class list, with this new setting accessible under Planning > Grading Setup > Academic Score Sheet. This setting affects the display of student names in the Academic Score Sheet, Non-Academic Score Sheet, downloaded files of the score sheets, Adviser Remark, and Principal Remarks.

New DepEd Report

I’m sure you’ll love this new feature developed by our team. Edusuite is now capable of generating the standardized SF10 Reports by the Department of Education for elementary students. Our partners can now easily generate SF10 reports for elementary school records from Edusuite K12.

Edusuite provides two methods for generating SF10 reports. The first method is through bulk generation, where you can now filter your generated report by school year, report type, grade level, and section. Each student included in the specified filters will have their individual reports downloaded as XLS files inside a zip folder, giving you access to all the SF10 reports whenever or wherever you need. The second method is downloading the report individually by accessing their grades in the student section in the user module.

The downloaded XLS file contains the elementary school records of a particular student, including Junior High School and Senior High School students whose data are already in the system. All you have to do is select SF10-ES from the upper right and click on the download icon.

Additional Conveniences

We’re not done with the improvements just yet! Edusuite has made a couple of small improvements for your convenience:

  • Exception handling enhancements in the Notification Templates.

  • Invalid characters validation in the Payment Scheme discounts and additional charges.

  • Descriptive error messages are now displayed in the Manage Registration section when there’s duplication of student email.

  • Default privilege access can now be assigned to granted permissions.

  • Minor bug fixes in the Guardian Portal, Enlistments, Score Sheets, and Payments sections.

These updates are part of Edusuite's promise to provide comprehensive and cutting-edge solutions for efficient school management. Stay tuned for the next chapter of Edusuite’s continuous pursuit for a digitized future.
